Hi, friends! Have you ever documented a child's favorite toy? That is what I am doing today with the You are my Sunshine collection.

For my layout I am starting with three photos that I printed in black and white.  The photos tell a story of my granddaughter reading her stuffie (which she named Kitty Cat) a story, saying their prayers and kissing her goodnight. I wanted this layout to have a softness and this blue Fresh Blooms background felt perfect!  I brayered on a layer of white gesso to the center of the paper just to add a little extra softness without losing the gorgeous pattern.  Then I cut a cutfile using my cricut (there is a tutorial in my video on YouTube). I also cut the letters to back the cutfile using another beautiful blue pattern from the 6x9 accent paper pad. For my journaling spot I used an adorable tag that I cut from the Staycation paper. 

To embellish I fussy cut two kitten frames from the Pet Photo paper; cut aparts hearts; diecut kitten, flowers, scalloped borders and a heart; and sticker kitten, sub-title and phrases.
